At Little League World Series, Wylie Little League runs football play during rain delay

Wylie Little League faced Toms River East Little League of New Jersey in a win-or-go-home game at the Little League World Series Tuesday afternoon.
Representing Texas at the tournament, Wylie lost to Michigan 6-5 on Monday. New Jersey dropped their first game of the tournament against Nebraska, but rebounded to stay alive with a 11-4 win against Connecticut.

Wylie won Tuesday’s game 2-1, eliminating New Jersey from the tournament. Next up for Wylie will face Nebraska on Wednesday afternoon. They will need to win the game to continue on in the LLWS.
